İsmail Safa Özler can be considered the founder of Özler Ziraat. He is the first ever Minister of Education in the Turkish Republic who later served as Minister of Internal Affairs. Upon leaving education and politics, İsmail Safa Özler acquired his first fields 20 km. outside Adana and became the first generation Özler in farming and agriculture.
The activity that started with growing simple field crops in 1920's evolved into a multinational agricultural company producing more than ten different fruits and vegetables on 1600 hectare total area in Turkey and Romania. While Özler Ziraat self processes its production, it also does its own marketing all over the world. Despite all achievements, the company continues to keep its status and spirit as a family company.
